Bon Fire at Oake Marsh Farm
David and David cooked up an entree of italian sausage and black pudding and then the main fare of sausages, hamburgers, onions, and steak which was followed by desert of icecream and cake. Caroline prepared a generous quantity of mulled wine which all disappeared before the night was through. This warming beverage was appreciated by all who partook, although there were subsequent reports that some of it contained headaches that manifested themselves next morning. Thanks also go to Andrew for preparing the site and bon fire, Dick and Dick for setting up the port-a-loo, to Jock and helpers for setting up and, next day, packing up the marquee (which proved to be a great asset to the evening) and to Heather and Tom for attending to the attendance and financial chores.
A good time was had by all who attended.
Andrew has been booked for a similar event next year!
